2012 Tryout Information

HTB 2012 14U Baseball Tryouts (January)

Houston Thunder Baseball is looking for a couple of competitive ball players to round out our 14u Elite/Premiere team this 2012 spring. We are a college prep organization working to prepare the boys to play at a higher level. We will be playing 2-3 tournaments a month in both Elite & Premiere AND WILL JUMP UP TO 16U IN THE SUMMER. I believe this separates HTB from other organizations and gets your son ready for his incoming 9th grade year!!

Tryouts are scheduled for January 14, 21, and 28 from 10:00am - 12pm @ "B" Elite Batting Cages 12820 Hempstead Rd. Suite D Houston, Texas 77040

2012 League Information

League begins the Sunday of February 12th and ends April 15

We will not play Easter weekend.

This will be 6 week league, 12 game schedule, playing two games each Sunday with a full tourney at the end.

HTB High school league gives High school age players a place to play and stay sharp !! Teams are made up players that don't make or choose not to play with there local Hs team .. The league offers 6 weeks of Sunday double headers games for a minimum of 12 game total with a full tourney at the end starting February 12th and ends April 15... For more info on how enter your team or to get a spot on an existing roster !!!

I will take 50-70 players and have 7-8 teams.. The talent will be equally distributed by skill level and by position. This is a great opportunity to get work in with a game format !!!

1. Rosters batted.
2. 5 runs per inning.
3. No pitcher will pitch 2 games in a row.
4. 1:40 games or 7 innings.
5. Games will not end in a tie.
6. Player will not sit more then 2 innings per game.
7. HTB will supply official game balls.
8. No intentional walks.

Cost $175 per player (A full team is able to enter with up to 12 players $1,750 and Team saves $350 per team) Player save $30 off the fee

Cincinnatti Reds Scout Team

Congratulations HTB players !!! Camden Green, Joey Champion, Victor Rodela, Ryan Schlain and Fabian Munos for making the reds scout team !! All these guys played very well in Arizona and have a bright future entering there senior baseball season !!!
